What is ghost A simplest definition of a  ghost is that it is the spirit of a dead person or animal,for animal ghosts have been reported for as long as human ghosts.   Since ancient times, people have believed that ghosts happen when some souls do not travel to the afterlife,but remain attached to the world of the living.whatever the reason, the presence of a ghost spells trouble in most people's view.   There are different terms for ghosts: phantoms, phantasms,specters, the walking dead.Some names have fallen in and out of fashion throughout history. Ghost places   Ghost attract us like moths to a flame. We want to see ghosts,so we go to haunted places, hoping and daring to be scared.
